Main Idea

Police brutality is the form of misconduct performed by the police. It is usually the use of excessive power by the police which ends in a lot of casualties and conflicts. Even though it is still prevalent in many countries to this date such as Iran, Brazil, Kenya, Russia, it doesn’t match the amount of racist police brutality in the US. Many cases of police brutality don’t provide justice for the victim as their voices are suppressed with the powerful law enforcements and the government doesn’t take necessary action against cops. Less than 1% of the the police population are indicted for murder in the united states while more than 90% of the citizens are indicted for their crimes. Police brutality in the United states is done to a lot of minorities especially to African Americans. Police brutality is caused by political factors that impacts the health of African Americans.
